Slow your roll with properly stopping brakes. Inspections and repairs are done while you wait
Signs or Symptoms Your Vehicle Needs Brake Services:
- It’s been over a year or 12,000 miles since the last time your brakes were inspected.
- You’re near or past the number of miles your vehicle’s manufacturer recommends between brake fluid exchanges.
- The brake warning light on your dashboard comes on and stays on.
- You hear grinding or squealing when you apply the brakes.
- Your vehicle pulls to one side when you apply the brakes.
- Your vehicle requires longer distances to stop than it used to.
- The brake pedal responds slowly and feels “spongy”
- The brake pedal goes to the floor and/or requires excess pressure.
Brake problems often start out little but can become increasingly bigger and more costly. Bellagio technicians can detect most brake problems big or small. They start by inspecting all major brake components: disks, brake pads and shoes and brake lines. After a thorough inspection, they can make brake repair suggestions based on wear and your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
Brake Pad Inspection
When you step on the brake pedal, brake pads on each side of the disc or rotor apply pressure against it to slow your vehicle or bring it to a stop. During a brake inspection, pads will be measured by a Bellagio technician. Brake Service replacement is recommended based on the results of a complete brake inspection using vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations for disc pad/drum shoe minimum thickness and actual measurements.
Check the Disks
Disks or rotors are vital to slowing down and stopping your vehicle. When you press the brake pedal, pressure is applied to the disk by brake pads on each side. Each disk is inspected for rough spots, warping or damage. Disks should be shiny and show little signs of wear. Disks that are damaged or warped should be resurfaced or replaced immediately.
Examine Brake Lines
Brake lines can become corroded, cracked and stiff. Bellagio technicians check to see if the rubber lines are still pliable and soft so fluid can move without the risk of leaking. They also check the hard metal brake lines for corrosion and cracking. Replacing brake linings before they become damaged can save key system components and money. After the inspection, a written evaluation, with detailed diagnoses of findings, is provided and reviewed with you. Service recommendations are based on the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations and the existing condition of brake components that may impact system performance.
Engine Air Filter Replacement
Why is it important? Air is drawn into the engine as a critical part of the combustion process. The engine air filter captures airborne contaminants such as dirt, dust and even bugs before they can enter the engine. A dirty, clogged engine air filter can contribute to poor overall engine performance.
What is the service? The engine air filter is removed and inspected. If necessary, a new, clean engine air filter is installed.
Benefit to you:
Engine Air Filter Replacement Helps ensure optimal fuel combustion and engine performance
Passenger In Cabin Micro Filter Replacement
Why is it important? The climate control system in your passenger cabin includes a filter element that helps remove dust, pollen, mold spores and other particulates from the air you and your passengers breathe.
What is the service?
The cabin air filter is visually inspected and replaced if necessary.
Please note: Not all Jiffy Lube® service centers offer all Air Filtration Services. Please call ahead to ensure the services are available.

Radiator Antifreeze/Coolant Service
Why is it important? The engine cooling system in your vehicle circulates antifreeze through the engine and radiator. The antifreeze is formulated to prevent corrosion inside the cooling system and helps to maintain optimal engine operating temperature regardless of outside conditions. Replacing the antifreeze at regular intervals can help prevent overheating, freezing and premature cooling-system corrosion.
What is the service? The old antifreeze is removed from your radiator and replaced with new antifreeze per your vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.
Benefit to you:
Radiator Antifreeze Coolant Service Helps protect your vehicle's cooling system against overheating, freezing and cooling system corrosion
Fuel System Cleaning Service
Every time a vehicle's driver presses the gas pedal, they are controlling how much fuel and air the engine takes in. The pedal tells the throttle valve how much air to let in and the computer tells the fuel system how much fuel to deliver. These calculated amounts of air and fuel are typically mixed together before being sucked into the combustion chamber of an engine cylinder. There the spark plug ignites the mixture, producing the controlled burn that powers the vehicle.
It's important for the fuel in the vehicle to be as clean as possible.Performing fuel system cleaning service:
- helps remove fuel varnish build-up
- helps remove intake valve deposits
- helps reduce cylinder head deposits
- cleans the fuel system
The service includes:
The service helps clean the fuel system and combustion chamber with multi-step cleaners.
Benefit to you:
Fuel System Cleaning Helps maintain optimal engine performance
Fuel Filter Replacement
Why is it important? The fuel filter is located on the line that brings fuel from the tank to the engine. The filter removes contaminants and particulates so fuel can flow to the engine smoothly and without obstruction. A clean, unclogged fuel filter can help prevent reductions in engine performance.
What is the service? The old fuel filter is removed and replaced with a new one that meets your manufacturer's recommendations.
Benefit to you:
Fuel Filter Replacement Helps ensure optimal fuel cleanliness and engine performance
Tire Rotation Service
Why is it important? Tires may wear differently depending on their position on the vehicle, your driving style and the condition of your suspension. Regularly rotating your tires can evenly distribute their wear—helping you get the most miles out of your tires while maximizing traction on all four wheels.
What is the service? Changing the position of the tires on your vehicle, according to your vehicle and tire manufacturers' recommended rotation pattern
Benefit to you:
Tire Rotation Service Helps maximize the life of your tires
Automatic Transmission Fluid Exchange
Why is it important? Transmission gears deliver power from the engine to the drive wheels, shifting automatically to provide the best power and efficiency for your driving speed. A special transmission fluid cools and lubricates the gears. Over time, this fluid degrades, and its lubricant qualities diminish. Changing the fluid at the correct intervals can help prevent premature wear and damage to the transmission.
What is the service? Removal of the old transmission fluid and replace it with new, clean fluid of the grade recommended by your vehicle manufacturer.
Benefit to you:
Transmission Fluid Exchange Improves lubrication and helps maximize the life of the transmission
Automatic Transmission Drain and Fill
Automatic transmission fluid lubricates, cools and cleans internal components of the transmission. It also helps to maintain the hydraulic pressure necessary for the transmission to function. The additives in the transmission fluid can be depleted over time. The Automatic Transmission Drain & Fill service includes:
- removing the transmission fill/drain plug to remove the old automatic transmission fluid
- reinstalling transmission fill/drain plug
- refilling the transmission with new automatic transmission fluid to the proper level
Manual Transmission Service
A transmission is a speed and power-changing device located between the engine and the driving wheels of a vehicle. It provides a means for changing the ratio between engine RPM and driving wheel RPM to meet each particular driving situation.
Manual transmission fluid provides lubrication to gears, bearings, shafts, and other internal components. Heat, pressure and friction can slowly breakdown the additives in the manual transmission fluid. In addition, small particles of metal may come off the gears as they wear and these metal particles can mix with the fluid. Fluids can also become contaminated with water. The service includes:
- evacuating the old manual transmission fluid
- filling the manual transmission fluid with the manufacturer's recommended type and quantity of new fluid
Windshield Wiper Replacement
Why is it important? Windshield wiper blades are made of a soft rubber compound. Over time, the elements break down that compound and make it brittle. As this happens, your windshield wipers will leave streaks, potentially affecting your ability to see the road ahead and compromising your road safety
What is the service? We inspect your wiper blades and let you know if they are cracked, split, torn or brittle indicating that it's time for a replacement
Benefit to you:
Windshield Wiper Replacement May improve visibility during inclement weather
The drivetrain serves two functions: it transfers power evenly from the engine to all drive wheels and it varies the amount of torque. The drivetrain may include the differential, a transfer case (in four-wheel and all-wheel drive cars) and the transmission (see Transmission Services).
Why is it important? The differential is a special gear box located between the drive wheels of your vehicle. It allows the drive wheels to turn at different speeds, as they must when turning a corner. Over time, high operating temperatures can cause the lubricating fluid in the differential to break down, developing a gummy texture that doesn't properly lubricate the gears. Replacing the fluid can help you avoid premature wear on the gears in the differential, and can even help reduce wear on drive-wheel tires.
What is the service? The old differential fluid is removed and replaced with new lubricating fluid based on your vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.
Transfer Case Service
Why is it important? The transfer case is a special gear box found in four-wheel and all-wheel-drive vehicles. It sends drive power from the engine to the front and rear axles. In all-wheel-drive vehicles, the transfer case helps to shift power from one axle to another, depending upon traction conditions. Lubricant fluid in the transfer case helps to keep its gears cool and turning smoothly. Replacing this fluid at appropriate intervals can help prevent premature wear and damage caused by contaminated or broken-down lubricant.
What is the service? A special fluid is used to lubricate, cool and clean the gears in the transfer case. The old transfer case fluid is removed and replaced with new fluid that conforms to your vehicle manufacturer's recommendation.
